By far the prevailing perspective in the church today is the progressive view. What I began to question in the past handful of years is whether I am "really and personally" being sanctified such that sin progressively weakens over time, and my holiness progressively grows over time.

There are two things that I believe make this study of unique benefit for the church. First, the study is not an inquiry regarding individual's apprehension of various proof texts that may seem to support the progressive view. The survey merely asks about your beliefs and experience in this regard. Second, it is not a work that is, in effect, a theory of the relationship between faith and life--nor will it be an application book from cover-to-cover. The point of this work is to explore the pervasiveness and the implications of inconguity between our affirmations and our personal experience. Thank you for taking time to weigh in through the survey, and please weigh in here with more of your thoughts in this regard. Blessings to you!
